Harvard Ave Interface Fire
Posted On: Mar 25, 2018

At 1:34 p.m. on Sunday March 25th, South Metro Fire Rescue received multiple 911 calls reporting both a building and brush on fire at 7555 E. Harvard Avenue in Arapahoe County. First arriving Local 2164 members from Station 61 found a vegetation fire along the Highline Canal that was threatening a nearby apartment building. Members were able to quickly control the fire before the building was damaged, but smoke had to be removed from the hallways with a fan. No injuries occurred, witnesses report several juveniles were fleeing the area when the fire was first spotted and investigators are working the case.
